I believe that the 1911 census should be released after 92 years - that
would be 2003. We have to keep pushing!

The 1901 Canada Cenus is available at moat Public Libraries. Due to
statements made during the taking of the 1911 re; privacy of information the
Canadian Statistical Board has declared that the 1911 Cennsus will not be
released in 2011. There are petitions before the House of Commons to rectify
this.

I'm fascinated that one can "get at" the US census for 1920! No 100 year
rule hurdle there then! Does anybody know if one can get access to the
Canadian 1920 census too?
I have an Aberdeen born gt. grandfather Edward GUYAN who went to Canada
around 1910 and never returned to his wife and children - although he kept
in touch with them for many years.
