Dear Louise, Unfortunately it looks like they are not related. All my
Fiddes' are in Aboyne and William married Helen Minty. I'll keep it in
mind.
I have the same problem with another gggrandfather. There are many who
were born at about the same time, but none seems to fit exactly. Your guess
looks good to me. Happy ancestor hunting! Lynn
