I am interested in the name SUMMERS. I have just found out that my husband's
RENNIE (RAINNIE) family has a Summers connection.

John Rainnie died 7th January 1879 aged 75 years at Couchercairn, Meldrum.
Father: David RAINNIE farmer (deceased)
Mother: Agnes RAINNIE ms SUMMERS (deceased).

John RAINNIE married Janet LUMSDEN, May 1846 Tarves. John Rainnie's son
Charles, my husband's grandfather later changed the spelling of his surname
to RENNIE.

So far I haven't found anything on the IGI about Agnes SUMMERS. I don't know
if she fits with any of your connections.
