Hello List member.

I have a few questions for the list. Here goes.

On a marriage certificate, when it lists the bride or groom's parents, if they are deceased
is that noted? Their names are listed but they do not sign, correct?

Below the mother's name on a marriage entry, does "ms" mean maiden surname ?

When it lists profession and then (Four) that must be a rank/level? Is Journeyman the starting level for that trade/profession ? Is Master the highest level ?

What is the profession "Turner". Does it have to do with woodworking ?? (Just a crazy guess)
