** I haven't seen this cd, but I expect it will be based on the 2 per cent
sampling of the 1851 census, done some years ago by one of the
universities under an ESCR research project. This was done by transcribing
in full EVERY 50th book right round the UK, so you have a 50 to 1 chance of
finding any specific person. But if you do find them, the whole household will
be there, along with everyone else in that enumeration book.
I have the original cd-rom that was brought out afterwards, so I presume this
is another version of this data.
