Found another Robert MILNE who was a shipmaster and married Elizabeth CHRISTIE
They had five children: Ann, 1771, Aberdeen with James Milne, Jr., Sailor
and Peter
Davidson, Merchant as witnesses; Robert, 1778, St. Clement with Alexander
Milne and Robert Cumming, Boatmen as witnesses; Elizabeth and Jean--twin
girls, 1781, St.
Nicholas, Robert Cummine, Boatman and Alex Marr, Carpenter, Footdee; and David,
who die in 1790. Robert died 1821 at the age of 73 years on Virginia
Street. Any of
this sound familiar? I'd like to claim him as my own, but can't
quite. Maybe you can help?
