-------------------------
John Copeland (b Aberdeen circa 1825), married a Mary Jean Ogilvy (b Aberdeen
c 1827). They had two children, James (b bef 1851) and Jane (b 1 May 1851).
Either Mary died, or the two separated, because John next married Frances
Mercer in Fermanagh, Ireland in about 1852. The son, James however remained
in Aberdeen with his Grandmother (I assume Mary Jeans mother), however
I can find nothing about him, or this family. Jane however went with her
father.
Does any of this ring bells with anyone?
Is Ogilvy particular to any town in Aberdeenshire?
Can anyone give me any directions to try next?
Cheers
David Napier
