Hi Listers,

Can anyone tell me what type of dwelling Barthol Chapel in Tarves, Aberdeen would be? According to the 1881 Census, my great grandfather was living there, along with 3 or 4 other young people, all unmarried. His relationship to the head (James Black - Widower) was Serv, and his occupation was Farm Serv. Does the relationship Serv mean that he worked for the Head?
