Hello Everyone:

I'm researching my husband's great-grandmother Robina A. JAMIESON, born January 7, 1877 in Fetterangus (or Old Deer), ABD. She eventually married Frank TREVOR of LIN, ENG, lived in Lincolnshire and had 4 children before emigrating to Alberta, Canada abt 1920.

The 1881 British Census CDs confirmed oral family history that her parents were Robert and Isabella JAMIESON/JAMESON, both born Old Deer, ABD. Robert was a gamekeeper living with his family at Denahowie Lodge, Old Deer at the time of the 1881 census:

1 Robert JAMESON/JAMIESON b: Abt 1841 in Old Deer, ADB, SCT
. +Isabella b: Abt 1837 in Old Deer, ADB, SCT
2 Jane JAMIESON b: Abt 1863
2 Joan JAMIESON b: Abt 1868
2 Robina JAMIESON b: January 7, 1877 in Fetterangus (Old Deer on census), SCT
... +Frank A. TREVOR b: Abt 1875

I would love to make contact with anyone who has connections to this family or who has knowledge of the family or Denahowie Lodge. I would also be very grateful if someone has access to the 1871 census for Old Deer and would be prepared to do a lookup.

Cheers,
Marg
