Hi,

I just recently found my "lost" great-grandfather on the 1881 Aberdeen census.
William Cumming McArthur and his wife Isabell Gairn (Garden) are listed in
Belhelvie. His occupation was listed as a gamekeeper. We "lost" him after
the birth of a child in Fettercairn, where he was the gamekeeper at Fasque,
the Gladstone estate. (My father thought he had gone to Lanark!). I am not
familiar with Aberdeen. I know Belhelvie is a parish. Can anyone tell me
what estates are there? I'm trying to figure out where William may have been
working/living.
