Excuse the intrusion, but I'm new online and don't know the ropes. I'm not
however new to the area in question having been a telephone linesman there.
As you describe coming from Tornaveen to the junction of the B9119/B993,
turn left/North (Signpost Alford/Inverurie). The road to West Bandodle lies
a few hundred yards along this road on the right, (untarred) and is hidden
from the road.
For Bandodle, East Bandodle and the Hill of Bandodle, you would continue
along the B9119 to just before Auchorrie and take a very sharp left/North
on a road marked "Comers". East Bandodle is a little way down on the left.
Continue on for Bandodle and Hill of Bandodle, keeping straight on where
the tarred road turns right.
Hope this resolves the issue.
