Have looked up the recent Ordnance Survey Map Landranger series No.38
Aberdeen and surrounding area. It shows adjacent to the B9119 road,
some 2 miles east of the wee village of Tornaveen, what appears to be
a hillock called Bandodle. On the SW side of this hillock is a
House/farm called West Bandodle. This lies about 7 miles NE of
Kincardine O'Neil and as the crow flies passes over the village of
Torphins, 3miles away.
Unfortunately the modern OS maps do not make clear parish boundaries.
Cannot locate any other Bandodles in the area.
