Children allegedly still living in 1881 (maybe some in Scotland?):
John, James (came to USA in 1854), Ebenezer, Elsbet
2. Duncan, James - b. 2 Feb 1818, Scotland; d. 11 Mar 1905, Urbana,
Champaign Co, OH, USA
m. Stuart, Isobel - 1 Dec 1843 - Leslie Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland
Came to USA in 1854 with wife Isobel and dau Janet (only
ones known for sure)
Had 9 children, all living in 1881 (maybe some still living in
Scotland?)
Born in Scotland (6): Janet, Charles, James, John,
Alexandrina and Alexander
Born in USA (3): Margaret Elsbet, Isabel Jane, David
Ebenezer
I am researching now in Champaign and Clark Co. to see if any children
besides Janet (my line) came
to this country.
Will appreciate any information to identify parents, birth and death dates
and locations - and to take
the lines back further in time, if possible.
