HADLEY REUNION UPDATE
As I write this newsletter, 86 people have notified me they are planning on attending the reunion. How great! Some people think we may have over 100 people attending. One thing for sure is that many of us have never met. One of the first things you will be asked to do upon your arrival is to print your name in LARGE letters on the name tag we will provide. I suspect I will be needing to look at your name tag as I talk with you and I hope you will feel free to look at my name tag and the name tags of others as you meet and talk with them.
We are still in need of help. We think a workshop on "Religion in Colonial New England" would be of interest. We need a coordinator to pull together the details for that workshop. If you have the interest in doing so, please contact Jim at:
Some Other things to do:
You will be visiting a very historic area where there are lots of things to see and do besides enjoying the many beaches and summertime activities. We have listed only a few website with recommendations for things to see and do. www.salem.org/ . The Peabody Essex Museum in Salem http://pem.org/homepage/index.php is an excellent place to visit. In addition, the National Parks Service has an entire building in the middle of Salem devoted to the historical significance of the area and their free film should not be missed. http://home.nps.gov/applications/state/ma/travel_info.cfm?AlphaCode=SAMA#Destination_
