I am researching the surnames Spears and Sapp, trying to determine if either
was involved in
the Rev. War. The given names "Archibald Spears" and "Henry Sapp" are of
particular interest.
Archibald Spears was born in about 1745 (place unknown). He lived for some
time in South Carolina
and died in about 1812 in Twiggs County, Georgia. Henry Sapp was born in
about 1746 (place unknown).
He died on the same day as his wife Remillicent (surname believed to have
been Darlington). Both
died, after about 65 years of marriage, on 29 October 1829 in Twiggs
County, Georgia.

Any information, including possible on-line sources, would be appreciated.
